Chevrolet Beat LPG Launched.

Chevrolet India has finally launched the Beat LPG a much required variant for the model. Priced at Rs 4.10-4.53 Lakhs ( Ex showroom Mumbai ) the Beat will surely attract many.

Keeping in mind the need of the buyer Chevrolet India has specially made an advanced LPG kit which will be different from the other Venturi types kits available in the market for other cars. The one used in Beat is a Advanced Multipoint Sequential LPG Injection technology. That means no more power loss assuring you a smoother drive, not to forget that the LPG Unit is compact and does not harm passenger seating. Beat also features the new 1.2 lit SMARTECH Engine crafted specially for the Indian market.

The tank size of the Beat is 35 lit with an additional 32.8 lit of the LPG of which only 26.2 lit for filling. Giving a mileage of 13.29 kmpl in LPG mode is first in class which works in favour for this model. Chevrolet claims that in a single LPG tank the car can travel around 349 km which when combined with the petrol tank comes out to be 1000km. Power Figures of the Beat are 80.4PS @ 6400 rpm and torque of 104Nm @4440 rpm.

The Beat LPG also gets the Chevrolet India 3 year or 100,000 km Warranty. The launch of Beat LPG will unrest the i10 and the Maruti league of hatchbacks.
