Mine had a RD of May 1 too at NSC. I checked the status for the first two weeks and it said it would be approved in 150-180 days. Now it just says that it is being processed, without any mention of the days it might take.
I also had the same experience, first few weeks it was showing the time line not it doesnt. Does anybody know what could be the reason for this?

I just wanted to share my experience with expired AP based I-94 at Chicago airport. My wife was traveling home and we stopped by at the USCIS registration office at the airport. We asked the officer if my wife needed to do any exit interview. The officer asked to see her passport.
After noticing the expired AP based I-94, he asked "Where is your green card?" and I replied that her greencard is still under process. Then the officer hold the passport against the window and almost yelled at me "Do you see what is the date on this I-94?" to which I politely replied that yes we know but we contacted local USCIS and they assured us that this date is only a formality since my wifes I-485 is still under process, she is allowed to stay in the US until a decision is made about her application.
After hearing my answer the officer calmly said, "Sir, you don't need to do any exit interview."
I am wondering if my wife would face any issue returning back to the US.
If you have traveled back to the US after overstaying AP based I-94, please share your experience.

What happened to all the donors this month? Under 15% donated so for in August.. In July there was a mad rush for all to get a DONOR status due to a RED HEADLINE and every body thought the green card is hidden there. Come August and all the DONORS are not to be seen anywhere.
I was a regular donor and was changed to Sr. Member as did not sign in for monthly contributions. Did many signed in for monthly contributions ONLY for ONE month?????
I think IV need to change it?s policy of donation on Cause Bases instead of monthly contributions. I am and will be available to contribute for Cause Bases instead of Monthly contributions and just to get a DONOR STATUSr.
Any thoughts as to how can we improve our donations??

I know what you are going through.
The last 6years and 9 months have been an emotional rollercoaster for us.
I did suffer a lot over this.
But lately I reached a point where I was completely emotionally neutral about the outcome of the green card. We did what we were supposed to do for GC on time with highest priority but after the action was taken then I just let it go.
It is easier said than done, but being emotionally neutral does help a lot, it reduces your suffering but also provides you with mental clarity and energy to take most effective action in given circumstance.
Congratulations. I am very happy for you. Yes, we are having a bad time but you know what your news makes me happy. After what you have been through, I think you deserve to celebrate and enjoy the American Dream. Thank you for prayers and thoughts. We need it more than ever today.

They might have approved some applications in last week of June for which the status may change this week.(My guess, as I got approval email today inspite of all odds)
If not this month, in four months (Oct 07) when new visa number are available, your application will be one of the first ones they will look into.

I received call from my attorneys office advising me to refile the application as they didn't see the checks got en cashed. They were telling this to all EB3(India) applicants, because they suspecting from October they will Retrogress pretty bad. They want to ensure we don't miss this window, and not able to refile the applications in case if USCIS come and say they never received my application.
Did anyone received this kind of advice from lawyers?

Did your lawyer forget to attach the info of I 140 in I 485?
I think while filing I 485, you have to let USCIS know about the status on I 140. whether it is approved, or pending and the receipts and all that....
Get on this ASAP. Talk to your HR and Lawyer both.

Pleas consult attorney as soon as possible about babies citizenship question (send an email to American Embassy too).
Sorry to hear about the loss of friend.
I thnik wife will retain her GC and can travel as allowed to LPR.
She might need to contact Indian Embassy (consulate) for death certificate for need in India.
Also later on she once come back she might need to apply for removal of condition when eligible for marriage based GC.
It will be advisable to contact immigration attorney for quick consultation.

i thought most people would be aware of the fact that when we immigrants call USCIS to get case status we are actually talking to a 3rd party who is contractor for USCIS and has very limited information to provide with.........to my understanding they just have same access to the case status which you or me can have if we create a profile on USCIS with our case numbers............Dont expect much from these people coz they themselve do not know much about any of our cases.........it is just like calling any customer care service........:):):)

Just heard from some wonderful people in the HR that in their opinion, I cannot get payed till they have my H1B extension approval in hand! Of course, the same wonderful HR people waited till the VERY LAST DAY to file the extension! So I have to wait for 2-3 months to get paid, even though I reminded them 2-3 months back to get started on my renewal?
I am soooo done with this country and its semi-educated, inefficient and ignorant bureaucracy and its blood-sucking, greedy, exploitative employers.
The USPS won't forward my mail to my new address correctly after they send me the receipt for my change of address form!
The SSA loses my new-born son's social security card!
Something is going terribly wrong with this country.
I think we had a much better quality of service in India even 10 years back.
On April 24th, I will watch the senate proceedings for one day and decide whether I should go back.
I am soooo done with this country and its semi-educated, inefficient and ignorant bureaucracy and its blood-sucking, greedy, exploitative employers.

I have read in murthy forum, that one can use the EAD for one job and H1 another job. But other guys are saying if you use EAD, your H1 is gone. So please search in murthy.com. If you find any useful information, please share it here and others can benefit also.

Yes! Along with Murthy, I have heard this from other reputed attorneys as well. Also, one point to remember is that you do not inform the USCIS that you have used the EAD for your part time job. All you do is fill out the I9 for verifying employment eligibility.
